FREEMONT STREET STAGE, LAS VEGAS, NEVADA

Entertainment Engineering, Inc.(EEI) and Scenic Technologies, Inc.(STI) have worked together on many projects over the years. When a job comes our way requiring fine fabrication STI is always one of our bidding vendors, and when a job comes their way requiring Engineering they contact us. The latter was the case on the Freemont Street Stage.

When the city of Las Vegas decided to build an outdoor stage on Freemont St. architecturally similar to the existing street Canopy,

STI provided a design concept which was accepted for the program. STI then came to EEI for engineering analysis of the proposed canopy structure and its supporting columns including member sizing, design of the construction details, design of the concrete stage slab and foundations for all walls and fountains, and a complete build-to-print shop drawing package.

On July 5th , 2001 EEI submitted our Contract Documents which included Structural Calculations and FEA Report package including Basis of Design with strength of materials and a 32 sheet shop drawing package all stamped and signed for the Clark County Building annd Safety Dept.
